Our Story
The foundation of United Surfaces was built through years of hands-on experience, craftsmanship, and progression within the construction industry.
Beginning in the UK at just 15 years old, My journey started with a traditional apprenticeship in bricklaying, developing the skills, discipline, and attention to detail that continue to define our work today. By the age of 20, I had established my own company, specialising in bricklaying, stonemasonry, and paving — delivering private projects while also subcontracting to high-end builders on premium residential developments.
In 2014, I was selected to work in the South of France, in the prestigious hillside village of Èze, undertaking extensive construction alterations and luxury paving works on an exclusive 85-bedroom hotel restoration project. This experience further refined our understanding of luxury construction, architectural finishes, and large-scale project delivery.
Following this, my career progressed into site management roles across new-build developments and high-end renovations, overseeing projects from construction through to completion with a strong focus on quality and detail.
In 2017, I joined forces full-time with a builder to help establish and grow a new construction company Horizon Building Contractors, from the ground up, working as a Construction and Project Manager across premium residential and commercial developments. Projects ranged from bespoke luxury renovations through to newly built care facilities valued at up to $25 million — all delivered with a commitment to exceptional workmanship and high-end finishes.
Today, that experience forms the backbone of United Surfaces — combining traditional craftsmanship with extensive construction knowledge to deliver refined, luxury spaces built to the highest standards.
